Stock market update: Nifty IT index 0.86%

The Nifty IT index closed 0.86 per cent at 41668.60.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a computer screen on Wednesday.

Shares of Wipro Ltd.(up 0.55 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services and products Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

Alternatively, Infosys Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Continual Techniques Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent) and L&T Skills Services and products Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent) performed because the live losers of the day.

The Nifty IT index closed 0.86 per cent at 41668.60.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 126.0 parts at 24340.85, whereas the BSE Sensex stood 426.85 parts at 79942.18.

Among the many 50 shares in the Nifty index, 20 resulted in the fairway, whereas 30 closed in the pink.

Shares of Vodafone Concept, YES Bank, IRFC, IDFC First Bank and Suzlon Vitality maintain been among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Gala Precision Engin, Jagsonpal Pharm, T T Ltd, Poly Medicure and UTI AMC hit their fresh 52-week highs in this day’s commerce, whereas Shankar Lal Rampal, Akshar Spintex, OCCL Ltd., Zenith Exports and Sheela Foam hit their fresh 52-week lows.
