NEW DELHI: The Nifty Bank index closed on a detrimental point to on Tuesday.
Shares of Au Puny Finance Bank Ltd.(up 0.62 per cent) ended the day as high gainers in the pack.
On the opposite hand, Verbalize Bank of India(down 1.72 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent), Federal Bank Ltd.(down 0.77 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.61 per cent) done because the high losers of the day.
The Nifty Bank index closed 0.69 per cent down at 49748.3.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 63.05 aspects at 23992.55, while the BSE Sensex stood down 166.33 aspects at 78593.07.
Among the many 50 shares in the Nifty index, 19 led to the green, while 31 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Thought, YES Bank, Zomato, Suzlon Vitality and Reliance Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of S P Apparels, Indraprastha Med, Symphony Ltd, AYM Syntex and KPR Mill hit their novel 52-week highs in on the present time’s exchange, while Sah Polymers, Brave Laboratories, Morarjee Text, Focal point Lighting fixtures and Guidelines Films hit their novel 52-week lows.
