NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index closed on a particular label on Monday.
Shares of Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.83 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.34 per cent), TVS Motor Firm Ltd.(up 2.33 per cent), Ashok Leyland Ltd.(up 1.98 per cent) and Tube Investments of India Ltd.(up 1.46 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the assorted hand, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd.(down 2.95 per cent), Bosch Ltd.(down 2.17 per cent), MRF Ltd.(down 0.11 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.1 per cent) carried out as the head losers of the day.
The Nifty Auto index closed 0.94 per cent up at 21812.7.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 189.41 functions at 22336.4, while the BSE Sensex stood up 560.29 functions at 73648.62.
