Stock market update: Mining shares up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Mining shares were buying and selling better on Wednesday at 11:20AM

Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 3.12%), MOIL Ltd.(up 1.82%), Gujarat Mineral Pattern Company Ltd.(up 1.23%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 1.21%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 1.09%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 0.88%), The Orissa Minerals Pattern Company Ltd.(up 0.74%) and NMDC Ltd.(up 0.32%) were among the tip gainers.

20 Microns Ltd.(down 2.00%), Pokarna Ltd.(down 1.27%), Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 1.00%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(down 0.80%), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.60%) and KIOCL Ltd.(down 0.20%) were among the tip losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index modified into buying and selling 142.36 elements at 24355.65, while the 30-part BSE Sensex modified into up 464.83 elements at 79941.46 at around 11:20AM.

LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 3.92%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.73%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 3.52%), Tata Consultancy Companies Ltd.(up 3.22%), Infosys Ltd.(up 3.21%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.12%), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.ninety 9%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.29%), Adani Ports & Particular Financial Zone Ltd.(up 2.27%) and Bharat Petroleum Company Ltd.(up 1.89%) were among the tip gainers within the Nifty pack.

On the opposite hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.8%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.79%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.56%), Tata Metallic Ltd.(down 1.23%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.18%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.02%), JSW Metallic Ltd.(down 0.82%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.77%), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.63%) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 0.52%) were buying and selling within the red.
