Shares of TVS Motor Firm Ltd.(up 2.52 per cent), Ashok Leyland Ltd.(up 2.34 per cent), Apollo Tyres Ltd.(up 1.5 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) and Balkrishna Industries Ltd.(up 0.97 per cent) ended the day as top gainers within the pack.
On the varied hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent) and Bosch Ltd.(down 0.02 per cent) executed because the cease losers of the day.
The Nifty Auto index closed 0.65 per cent at 23752.40.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 181.11 factors at 24457.15, while the BSE Sensex stood 597.67 factors at 80845.75.
Among the many 50 shares within the Nifty index, 41 ended within the inexperienced, while 9 closed within the purple.
Shares of Vodafone Belief, Ola Electric Mobilit, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy and NTPC Inexperienced Energy had been among the many most traded shares on the NSE.
