Sensex This day | Stock Market Highlights: Benchmark stock indices Sensex and Nifty surged virtually 1% on Monday (December 22) as investor sentiment remained definite amid foreign fund inflows and a rally in world markets on expectations of additional monetary coverage easing by the US Federal Reserve.
Constructing on the outdated session’s rally, the 30-part BSE Sensex jumped 638.12 functions or 0.75 per cent to resolve at 85,567.48.
