Danish energy cable producer and set up agency NKT has made an investment in a cable lay barge from Dutch Boskalis, extra strengthening its offshore cable set up tools and capabilities.
NKT is planning to toughen the Boka Constructor and modernize it for shut to-shore cable laying and burial operations, with the barge anticipated to be fully operational in 2027.
The settlement used to be made with Boskalis’ entity Offshore Equipment BV.
