NATO leaders suggest 5% defense investment by member states

June 5 (UPI) — NATO defense ministers are proposing a 5% annual investment in defense spending by member nations to provide a boost to defensive capabilities at some level of a meeting in Brussels on Thursday.
The proposed defense investment thought would require member nations to make investments 5% of their respective wicked home merchandise in defense, NATO officers announced.
The alternate would manufacture NATO a “stronger, fairer, more lethal alliance and manufacture definite warfighting readiness for years to advance,” per NATO.
