The European Rate has accredited a €1.2 billion Polish map to make stronger investment into electricity storage amenities to relief decrease the reliance of the Polish electricity machine on fossil fuels and to facilitate the tender integration of variable-era renewable strength into the national electricity machine.

In an announcement released on October 3, 2024, the govt.arm of the European Union talked about that the Polish map will make stronger the installation of at the least 5.4 GWh of present electricity storage amenities.

The protection will make stronger fully newly set in storage amenities with a ability of at the least 4 MWh. Eligible projects shall be linked to Poland’s electricity distribution or transmission networks at all voltage levels. Projects shall be selected through a call for proposals held by the Polish executive.
